The Astral Clock final design will be realised in Q3 2025.
For the launch of this master piece, we will collaborate with one of the world most renowned industrial designer. The pictures were done with the last prototype without the intervention of the designer.
Dive into the temporal cosmos with Time Designers. An ode to space and the worldwide first robotic painting, the Astral Clock displays the hours and minutes in a multitude of glass-blown capsules, thanks to a spectacular nanoparticle emulsion behind a galactic mirror. A creation at the intersection of craftsmanship, fundamental research, horology and painting.

Revealed for the first time during the QART Innovation Challenge in March 2024 organized by the Inartis Foundation, the Astral Clock was awarded the first prize.
How To Read time?
The Astral Clock has been designed to display time using 18 glass-blown capsules filled with precious nanoparticle emulsions. The inner circle of the clock indicates the hours, while the outer region of the circle displays tens of minutes.

A testimony to craftmanship
Each glass capsule is blown by craftsmen in Switzerland. The core of the clock is manufactured in composite ceramic in Switzerland.
